Order Texts
Prep & Plate order-update texts are transactional messages about a specific order, including order confirmation and pickup-ready updates.
How Consent Works
Consent for Prep & Plate order-update texts is optional. After you place an order, the order confirmation page offers a separate step where you can enter your mobile number and check a box to agree to receive texts about that order. Providing a phone number is never required to place or complete an order. These texts are transactional and are separate from optional marketing meal-drop alerts.
You can receive order-update texts without signing up for marketing meal-drop alerts, and you can sign up for marketing meal-drop alerts without receiving order-update texts. The two programs are separate and each has its own opt-in.

Separate From Marketing Texts
Order-update text consent is not the same as Prep & Plate marketing SMS consent. Marketing meal-drop alerts and occasional offers use a separate optional checkbox on the Text Alerts page. Prep & Plate does not require marketing text consent as a condition of purchase.
